吉田邸
笠島まち並み保存地区にある吉⽥邸は塩飽⼤⼯の技が息づいた、築100年の建物。
伊藤若冲の鶏図を⾒ることができる他、縁側の廊下には⻑さ12mもの節のない杉の丸
太材、⼑の鍔（つば）をはめ込んだ粋な欄間（らんま）、ホコリが溜まりにくいよう
わずかに斜めに組⼦を組んだ「ちり落とし」の障⼦など、細部までこだわり抜いた建
築は必⾒です。
Villa Yoshida is located in the Kasashima Preserved District of Historical
Streetscape. The house is built 100 years ago by Shiwaku Daiku who were high
skilled carpenters based on Honjima. In the house, you can see 2 works by Ito,
Jakuchu's who is well known Japanese painter. The house itself has valuable
points to see such as a 12m long of a log of cedar without knots, Ranma which
has some Tsubas of Japanese sword, Shoji with a little slanting latticework to
prevent dust accumulation, and so on.
